Good Design Australia (GDA) is the championing organisation for design-led innovation. The GDA team manages the prestigious Australian Good Design Awards each year and are dedicated to advocating for design on a local, national and international stage. They are passionate about the role and value of design in creating a safer, sustainable and more diverse future.
The INFIX team was recruited by Good Design Australia to create a twelve month marketing strategy that considered the awards process and surrounding events. This included revamping the tone of voice guidelines to better reflect the modern designer, while maintaining the history and prestige of the program. Equipped with a new voice, our team dove into refreshing the website copy and kickstarting content
The team picked up the pace significantly as the Awards drew nearer. The volume of social content doubled and an exciting series of interviews saw INFIX in discussion with renowned designers such as Marc Newson and Professor Veena Sahajwalla. The result was a vast array of innovative and inspiring pieces that built considerable hype before and after the penultimate Awards event.
